USING THE DEPED ILAW FRAMEWORK
The use of the ILAW Framework provides teachers with a more systematic structure for planning and conducting classroom instruction.
Instead of treating lesson planning as a simple sequence of activities, the framework helps ensure that each part of the lesson contributes to the development of the intended knowledge, skills, values, and competencies.
Through the ILAW-based lesson structure, teachers can more effectively connect prior learning with new concepts, provide meaningful learning experiences, facilitate learner participation, and check whether the lesson objectives have been achieved.
These ready-made DLLs therefore serve not only as planning references but also as practical guides for implementing lessons using the instructional framework currently promoted by DepEd.
A PRACTICAL GUIDE FOR TEACHERS
Ready-made lesson logs can be particularly useful as a reference and instructional guide, especially when teachers are handling several learning areas alongside other school-related responsibilities.
However, these materials should not replace the professional judgment of teachers. Lesson activities, examples, assessment tasks, and teaching strategies may still be modified or contextualized to ensure that instruction remains appropriate, meaningful, and responsive to learners.
Teachers may also incorporate remediation, enrichment activities, differentiated instruction, and localized examples whenever necessary.
