WALANG PASOK: Class Suspensions in Pampanga for September 7, 2026

Classes in several areas in Pangasinan, Bulacan, and Pampanga will be suspended on Monday, September 7, 2026, as communities continue to deal with flooding and the effects of the Southwest Monsoon or Habagat.

Several local government units have announced the suspension of classes to prioritize the safety of learners, teachers, school personnel, and families affected by flooding. In some areas, schools will shift to Alternative Learning Modes (ALM) to ensure continuity of learning.

Pangasinan

The following areas in Pangasinan have announced class suspensions:

• Lingayen – All levels, public and private schools; classes will shift to Alternative Learning Modes
• Basista – Daycare to Senior High School, public and private schools
• Mangatarem – All levels, public and private schools

Batangas

Several municipalities in Batangas Province have also announced Walang Pasok for Monday, September 7, 2026, due to inclement weather conditions brought by the Southwest Monsoon.

The affected areas are:

• Balayan
• Calatagan
• Lemery
• Lian
• Nasugbu
• Taal
• Tuy

Bulacan

Class suspensions have also been announced in the following areas in Bulacan:

• Calumpit – All levels, public and private schools
• Paombong – All levels, public and private schools; classes will shift to Alternative Learning Modes

Pampanga

Several municipalities in Pampanga will also suspend classes due to the continuing effects of flooding.

Masantol, Pampanga

Classes in all levels, public and private schools, will remain suspended until September 8, 2026.

Sto. Tomas, Pampanga

Classes in all levels, public and private schools, will remain suspended until September 12, 2026.

Schools will shift to Alternative Learning Modes during the suspension period to allow learning activities to continue while face-to-face classes remain suspended.

San Simon, Pampanga

Classes in all levels, public and private schools, are also suspended, with schools shifting to Alternative Learning Modes.

The suspension comes amid the continuing effects of flooding in parts of San Simon and the need to provide sufficient time for the cleaning, rehabilitation, and recovery of affected schools and communities.

Some school facilities have also been used as evacuation centers, requiring additional time to ensure that campuses are safe and ready before the resumption of regular face-to-face classes.
