Classes remain suspended in several areas across the country on Friday, August 14, 2026, as communities continue to deal with the effects of the Southwest Monsoon or Habagat. Benguet

• Atok — Preschool to Senior High School
• Buguias — Preschool to Elementary

The suspensions in Atok and Buguias were earlier announced to remain in effect through Friday, August 14.

Pangasinan

• Lingayen — Public schools only
• Mangaldan — All levels, public and private schools
• Mangatarem — All levels, public and private schools
• Binmaley — All levels, public and private schools

Pampanga

• Masantol — Face-to-face classes in all levels in public and private schools are suspended; classes will shift to Alternative Learning Delivery Modes (ALDM).

The suspension of in-person classes in Masantol was earlier announced to remain in effect until August 14.

Bulacan

• Obando — All levels, public and private schools
• City of San Jose del Monte — Face-to-face classes in all levels in public and private schools are suspended; classes will shift to Alternative Learning Delivery Modes (ALDM).

The Municipality of Obando issued Executive Order No. 94 suspending classes in all levels in public and private schools for August 14. The shift away from face-to-face classes in San Jose del Monte has also been announced amid the prevailing weather conditions.

Parents, students, and school personnel are advised to continue monitoring announcements from their respective LGUs, schools, and other authorized government agencies, as additional areas may declare suspensions depending on local weather and flooding conditions.
